Projet de diplôme à réaliser sur l'année scolaire 2010/2011 en vue de l'obtention de mon DSAA (Diplôme Supérieur d'Arts Appliqués) créateur-concepteur option design de produits obtenu avec les félicitations du jury.
Deux positionnements ce sont imposés à moi. Les animaux ont des rites dits programmés alors que chez l’homme, les rites sont culturels et travaillés. Comment l’homme pourrait-il assumer culturellement des rites provenant du monde animal ? Comment utiliser l’éthologie pour aider l’homme à mieux appréhender certaines situations et particulièrement dans le cadre du cérémonial amoureux ?
De quelle manière adapter des protocoles d’études éthologiques en considérant les objets comme des espèces évolutives déterminées par un environnement ? Comment animaliser des objets issus de la culture humaine ? En s’inspirant des méthodes éthologiques, comment questionner la manière d’étudier et de concevoir l’objet ?

This is my self-initiated post graduate working theme I worked on during this school year 2010/2011. The degree is a DSAA (Superior diploma of applied arts), a product design, industrial design course equivalent to a MASTER 1 that I obtain with congratulations of the jury (special honors).
Ethology is the science of animal behaviour. How far can we be inspired by ethologist knowledge and methods, and how can we try to transfer them into the domain of product design ? How is it possible to use ethology to help humans comprehend better certain situations and particularly within the framework of the loving ceremonial ? How to adapt protocols of ethological studies by considering objects as evolutionary species determined by an environment ?
There is a certain resistance when transfering animal behaviours to human behaviours because humans are not really ready for it. The purpose of all my thinking is to show humans that we come from nature, we are part of it and we can use it to live a better life, to control our instincts, to play with them.
